Chocolate Chip Cookies in an Air Fryer

These cookies are a must-have in my house. The recipe makes about 12 cookies, so I usually store them in a bag in the freezer to have them on hand whenever we want. Just pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes, and they're ready.

These cookies are a must-have in my house. The recipe makes about 12 cookies, so I usually store them in a bag in the freezer to have them on hand whenever we want. Just pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes, and they're ready.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, add the butter (it's advisable to take it out a while before using it so it softens; I microwaved it for a few seconds because I was short on time, but it's better to use softened butter for shaping), the granulated sugar, and the brown sugar. Mix until combined and no butter remains visible.
- 2
Next, add the egg, along with the salt, baking soda, and vanilla. Continue mixing.
- 3
After completing the previous step, sift the flour and knead until you get a dough. Finally, incorporate the chocolates into the mixture.
- 4
With the dough, form balls of about 1 3/4 ounces (50 grams) and decorate with chocolate chips on top. Freeze for about 2 hours. (I usually make them a day in advance, so I leave them overnight.)
- 5
After this time, preheat the air fryer to about 350°F (180°C); 3 minutes is enough. Cook the cookies at the same temperature for about 13-15 minutes, depending on how done you like them. If you want them to look perfectly round, 4 minutes before the time is up, open the air fryer and use a round cookie cutter or a glass if you don't have one, and gently shape each cookie until you get the desired form. Bake until the time is up.
- 6
Let them cool and they're ready to eat. 🍪

I decided to make chocolate chip cookies once and used the first recipe Google threw at me. It turned out to be the best chocolate chip cookies I'd ever had. They are very soft and moist. I would compare them to Subway cookies but not as flat.I kept making these often-requested cookies for a few years for all of my friends and family but then disaster struck! The recipe was removed from the app!Fortunately I had previously emailed the recipe to someone so now I'm re-posting this recipe for everyone to enjoy. Daniel Wagner -
