  • To steam the chickpeas:
  • 250 gramsGreen gram
  • 1 TspSalt
  • 1 TspSugar
  • as neededWater
  • To make spinach coriander gravy:
  • 15Spinach leaves
  • 3 TbspCoriander
  • 2 TbspMint leaves
  • 2 piecesspicy green chilies
  • 1 (1 inch)piece of ginger
  • leavesNeem
  • 1 TbspPeanuts
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 TspLemon juice
  • To make the final sabji:
  • 2 TbspOil
  • 1 Tspmustard seeds
  • 1 TspCumin powder
  • 1Bay leaf
  • 1Dried red chili
  • 2Cinnamon sticks
  • 3-4Clove
  • 1/4 cupChopped onion
  • 1 TspRed chili powder
  • 1 TspCoriander
  • 1/2 TspTurmeric
  • 1 TspGaram masala
  • 1/2 TspAmchur powder
  • To taste Salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel the Hara chana. Boil water in a pot, add hara chana and salt.

    To retain the green color of the green gram, add a little sugar and let them cook until they are soft.

    To prepare spinach coriander gravy, boil the spinach leaves in hot water for a minute, remove from the water and allow to cool.

    Take a mixer jar and add the prepared spinach, coriander, mint, neem leaves, and green chilies to it.

    Add a piece of ginger, groundnuts, and salt to taste.

    Add lemon juice and grind to prepare gravy.

    Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and garam masala.

    Add the onion to it and fry it properly.

    Now add the prepared gravy and steamed hara chana.

    Add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander cumin powder, amchur powder and garam masala, mix well and let it cook for two minutes.

    So the hara chana sabji will be ready to serve.
