This snack is usually served with crispy toasts. But if it is part of a larger feast, it is good to serve it in bowls or glasses, in portions.

For the cocktail, mix all liquid ingredients. Taste. Balance to your taste.

Boil shrimp and crayfish tails in water with salt and sprigs of herbs for three minutes. Drain the water. Add to the cocktail. Leave a few for decoration.

Wrap the beetroot tightly in foil and bake in the oven at 190 degrees for 60-90 minutes, depending on the size. Then cool, peel and grate on a fine grater. Distribute a few spoons into five glasses.

Place a few spoons of shrimp cocktail on top of the beets. Top with some chopped iceberg lettuce.

On the iceberg, a few more spoons of cocktail. Garnish with shrimp and dill. Let stand a little in the refrigerator before serving.
