Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 2Eggs, separated
  2. 1/4 cupGranulated sugar (A)
  3. 1/4 cupcake flour
  4. 2 tspmilk
  5. 50ml(1 and 2/3oz) heavy cream
  6. 4 TbspGranulated sugar (B)
  7. 50ml(1 and 2/3oz) Mascarpone cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Place parchment paper on a 8 inch × 8 inch pan.

    Beat in egg yolks and half of the sugar (A). Combined with sifted flour.

  3. 3

    Beat egg whites with an electric mixer. Add the rest of the sugar (A).

  4. 4

    Mix egg white meringue into the yolk mixture a third at a time. Add milk.

  5. 5

    Pour into the pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

  6. 6

    Whip heavy cream and sugar (B) with a whisk. Mix together with the mascarpone!

  7. 7

    When the sponge cake is cool, spread with cream and some strawberries.

  8. 8

    Roll up the cake!
