First of all,wash and clean the mulberries. Take a cup of them in a pan.mash it with smasher or coarsely grind it in pulse mode. Then add sugar and mix it well.

Heat the pan in medium flame. Stir the mulberry mixture continuesly. Add lemon juice and cook until sticky and thicken. Take it of and allow it to cool down.

Meanwhile, add cashews, milk powder and sugar in a mixer jar. Grind it finely powder.

Now heat full fat milk in a thick bottomed pan. After a boil, add prepared cashews mixture carefully. Make sure that no lumps there. Mix well and stir it continuesly. When it thickens, off the flame and allow to cool completely.

Now add malai and prepared mulberry compote to it.mix properly

Mix the mixture with beater until it turns smooth. And lumps free. Transfer the mixture in an airtight container.

Add some mulberry 's chunks on it. cover with plastic or foil paper and lid.Keep it in deep freeze for 7-8 hours.

Serve chilled and Garnish with mulberry compote. Enjoy mulberry ice cream without heavy cream.
