Mom's recipe. During the monsoon season. Mom made crunchy spicy tasty bondos with cocunt. We loved eating them. Not only a tasty dish but also a healthy dish. Mom's recipe. During the monsoon season. Mom made crunchy spicy tasty bondos with cocunt. We loved eating them. Not only a tasty dish but also a healthy dish. Make a checklist. Keep the necessary items near the cooking area

Soak the urad dal in a bowl with 5 cups of water for 3 hours. Then drain it, add water little by little in an idli grinder, grind urad with ginger and green chilies. Make a soft silky dough. It should be a little thick. Add rice flour, ginger spice mix, baking powder, salt, coconut pieces, chopped coriandercandurry leaves. Mix them together.

Heat oil in a kadai over medium heat, make small lime size balls with 1/4 cup bar.tter. When oil is hot enough drop the bpndos one by one into the oil. I usually place the bonda on a spoon and slide it intp into the oil. You will see bubbles in the oil. Turn it every now and then with a spoon. It should cook well all over. It should be golden brown. It will be cooked in 3-4 minutes. Take it out and drain the oil. Place it on a paper towel.

Crispy, delicious and nutritious Bonda is ready, I could make 10 Bondas. Taste it. Serve with chutney of your choice or ketchup. Enjoy
