Satvik chole (no onion garlic)

Soak chana overnight, next day pressure cook it with cloves,bay leaf, cinnamon, pepper corns and salt till soft (5,6 whistles)

For paste,heat oil add fennel seeds, cloves, pepper corns, poppy seeds,jeera coriander and fry for a few minutes then add ginger,curry leaves then add little water and coconut grated off the heat, cool it then make paste of it.

Now heat oil then add fennel seeds slit green chillies then add tomato chopped and fry till soft then add chilli powder, sambar masala,salt, jagarry turmeric powder fry till oil separates then add ground paste fry for few minutes then add cook chana and mix it and boil for few minutes.

Finally add coriander leaves and satvik chole is ready to serve with rice,roti or poori.
