Homemade Sourdough Starter
I wanted to bake bread, so I had to first get my sourdough started, and it turned out really good! I used fresh yeast so that I didn’t have to wait for 3 days, as it usually takes…
Steps
- 1
Mix all the ingredients.
- 2
Cover the mixture and leave for about an hour.
- 3
It will double its size, knead and let it rest for another hour.
- 4
It will become less sticky, you can let it rest more, or wait about 10 minutes and use it for your bread!
Tips
It is hard to knead because it will be sticky. Don’t worry if you lose some of the dough in every step, it’s normal!
