Clean and pat dry the white fish fillets.

Mix turmeric, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, and minced onion to make a marinade.

Rub the marinade onto the fish, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Beat the egg in a shallow bowl. Place bread crumbs in another bowl.

Dip each marinated fish fillet in the beaten egg, then coat with bread crumbs.

Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat.

Shallow fry the coated fish on both sides until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve hot with ketchup or any condiment of your choice.
Tips
For extra crispiness, ensure the oil is hot before adding the fish and double coat it with egg and breadcrumbs.
