Ingredients

2 servings
  • 8 piecesCashews
  • 1 tbspFresh coriander leaves
  • 200 gPaneer cubes
  • 1 tbspKadai paneer masala
  • 1 tsp(adjust to taste) Salt
  • 100 mlWater
  • 100 mlMilk
  • 3 tbspMalai (cream)
  • 3 clovesGarlic
  • 1/2 inchpiece Ginger
  • 1Green chili
  • 2 tbspOil
  • 2medium Onion
  • 3small Green tomatoes
  • 1 tspKasuri methi
  • 1 tspCoriander powder (dhaniya)
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspRed chili powder
  • 1 leafBay leaf (tej pan)
  • 1/2 tspMustard seeds (rai)
  • 1 tspCumin seeds (jeera)

Steps

  1. 1

    Make a paste with green tomatoes, onions, cashews, green chili, and ginger.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin, mustard seeds, and bay leaf.

  3. 3

    Add red chili, turmeric, coriander powder, and kasuri methi. Stir briefly.

  4. 4

    Add the paste. Cook on low flame, stirring, until oil separates.

  5. 5

    Add malai and milk. Stir and cook until reduced by half.

  6. 6

    Add water, salt, and kadai paneer masala. Mix well.

  7. 7

    Add paneer cubes. Simmer for 3 minutes.

  8. 8

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Tips

Stir the paste on low flame to enhance the flavors and ensure the oil separates properly.
