Start by adding water, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, hing, ajwain, and black salt in a pan. Mix well.

Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat.

Add rice flour to the hot water and mix quickly to form a dough.

When cool enough to handle, knead the dough for 5-6 minutes until smooth.

Divide dough into small portions. Roll each into thin, long ropes and shape into rings.

Heat oil on medium-low flame. Deep fry the rings until golden and crisp.

For masala: Mix red chili powder, hing, black salt, and chaat masala in a bowl.

Sprinkle the masala over the hot fried chikori as soon as they come out of the oil.

Serve hot and enjoy the crispy, spicy snack!
Tips
Adjust the spice level according to your taste preference.
