The other day I made this for lunch and it turned out really delicious. I added a bit of homemade sausage, which made it even better.

The other day I made this for lunch and it turned out really delicious. I added a bit of homemade sausage, which made it even better.
Steps

First, sauté the meat, onions, red bell pepper, and grated carrot in a little oil. Mix well.

Continue sautéing for a few more minutes.

Add your seasonings, mix, and pour in a little water.

Add the chopped sausage and mix again.

Let the filling cook until almost ready.

Add a bit more water, cook for a few more minutes, then turn off the heat.

Separately, boil the potatoes and sweet potatoes until cooked. Add salt and oil, then mash and mix.

Add a little milk and mix again.

Spread the meat filling in a greased and floured baking dish. Add the chopped hard-boiled eggs on top.

Cover the filling with the mixed potato and sweet potato mash. Top with homemade white sauce and bake at 410°F (210°C) for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, the pie should be nicely browned on top.

Cut into portions while still warm.

Serve each portion with rice.
