Ingredients

  1. 6 piecesBread
  2. 1/2 litMilk -
  3. 2Carrot
  4. 1/2 kgSweet gourd /lauki-
  5. 1Mango large
  6. 1 cupPure ghee
  7. 1 cupSugar
  8. Chopped nuts
  9. Saffron few threads
  10. Cardamom powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the bread in round shape and deep fry it in pure ghee.. Keep aside.

    Boil milk and make Rabdi.. Keep in a fridge

  3. 3

    Grate carrot and lauki and boil separately.

  4. 4

    Take a pan.. Put 2tsp ghee and boiled carrots.. Fry it.. Add sugar, chopped nuts and cardamom powder.. After that mix 2tsp Rabdi in it.. Keep aside after drying.

    Make lauki halwa as same.

  6. 6

    Make mango puree with half mango and mix it with half Rabdi to make mango Rabdi.

  7. 7

    Cut a large piece of mango length wise for decorating the dish

  8. 8

    Make some small balls of carrot and lauki halwa.

  9. 9

    Make thin chashani with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2cup water. Put saffron.. Pour it over the bread discs. Not too much.

    Assembling the dish

    Take one plate and put one piece of bread.. Spread lauki halwa on it.. Put another piece of bread.. Spread carrot halwa.. Put third disc. Assemble mango pieces and halwa balls as tic tack toe like.

    Pour mango Rabdi on one side of the bread and simple Rabdi another side..

  13. 13

    Sprinkle chopped nuts and the dish is ready to serve.
