Slow Cooker Sesame Ginger Beef
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Steps
- 1
Add beef to the slow cooker.
- 2
Add soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
- 3
Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until beef is very tender.
- 4
Remove 1/4 to 1/3 cup of cooking liquid, whisk in cornstarch until smooth.
- 5
Return mixture to slow cooker, cover, and cook on high for 20-30 minutes to thicken.
- 6
Serve over basmati rice with steamed broccoli. Add sesame seeds or chili crisp if desired.
Tips
That little extra step of thickening the sauce gives it more body, better texture, and a beautiful glossiness.
