Ingredients

15 Minutes
2 servings
  1. ● For The Noodles [do not use ramen or any other weaker noodle]
  2. 2Servings Thick Spaghetti Or Udon Noodles
  3. 1 DashOlive Oil
  4. 1 tspSalt
  5. ● For The Garlic Butter Sauce
  6. 1LG Spoonful Pureed Roasted Garlic [see my garlic recipe]
  7. 3/4 CubeUnsalted Butter
  8. 1/2 tspGarlic Powder
  9. 1/3 tspOnion Powder
  10. 1 tbspThai Basil Leaves
  11. 1/4 CupChopped Green Onions [+ reserves for garnish]
  12. 1/4 tspRed Pepper Flakes
  13. 1/4 tspPureed Ginger
  14. 1/2 tspPureed Cilantro
  15. 1/4 tspFresh Ground Black Pepper
  16. to tasteSalt [omit if serving garlic siriacha or soy]
  17. ● For The Finish [to taste]
  18. Quality Garlic Olive Oil [for noodles]
  19. Green Onions
  20. Sesame Seeds
  21. ● For Service [to taste]
  22. Siriacha Garlic Chili Sauce
  23. Pickled Ginger [with juice]
  24. Soy Sauce

Steps

15 Minutes
  1. 1

    Boil water as per manufacturers directions. Usually 9 to 11 minutes. Add salt and oil to water. Stir regularly.

    Heat everything in the Garlic Butter section. Mix well. Be careful not to burn garlic.

    Drain noodles. Do not rinse.

    Add noodles directly to your heated garlic butter mixture. Mix well, but gently, by lifting and separating noodles. Add olive oil if noodles need to be moistened.

    Serve with Siriacha Garlic Chili Sauce, Soy Sauce and generous amounts of pickled Ginger. You'll want its sweetness to negate some of the sodium and heat. Add ginger juice and garlic olive oil as as well for moisture and shine as well. Enjoy!

My culinary specialties as an easy going Chef include Asian, Mexican, Cajun, BBQing, Grilling, Irish Pub food, Low Country foods, anything seafood related, extra spicy foods, fresh meat, extra fresh vegetables, US comfort, kid friendly and super fast, quick and easy foods.
