Peel the potatoes and cut them in wedges.

Grate the onion or blend in a food processor, add it to the pot together with the olive oil to sauté. Then add the potatoes, sauté for a while and season with pepper.

Place the pieces of cod fish on top, add a little water that doesn't cover the food and let it cook over moderate heat for about 30-40 minutes.

When it is ready (pierce the potatoes and the cod fish with a fork or just try them) pour the lemon juice that you have already squeezed from the lemons and shake the pot to distribute it evenly. Place the pot back over heat for a few more minutes (the sauce thickens almost immediately) and remove it shortly after.
