We often get somen noodles as gifts during the summertime, so these somen recipes come in handy.I dissolve the chicken soup stock granules in a small amount of boiling water, then add ice to both cool it and to increase the water to 100 ml.When cooling the stir-fried ground meat, put it in a metal tray and float it in a bowl of ice water to cool it down quickly. Taiwanese Braised Beef Noodle Soup Taiwanese Braised Beef Noodle Soup
Being a Taiwanese person abroad, you often miss perhaps one of the most famous dishes in Taiwan--Beef Noodle Soup. While I was living in smaller communities abroad (like London, Ontario and Aachen, Germany), I often had really bad cravings for beef noodles so I searched high and low for an easy but delicious recipe of the popular dish. This recipe comes from a famous Taiwanese chef Meixian Lee (李梅仙). Even though I live in a much bigger city (Toronto) now and have access to lots of Taiwanese restaurants, I rarely find myself needing to go to them for beef noodle soup as this recipe is as good as it gets! Most of the ingredients here can be bought at your local Chinese grocer and are sometimes available in the international aisle at your regular grocer. Easy Authentic Taiwanese Hot & Sour Soup Easy Authentic Taiwanese Hot & Sour Soup
This is our family favorite dish when we don't have much of an appetite in summer♪.-In Step 5, make sure not to let the eggs lump together.-We don't make this soup spicy, so we cut down on pepper, and add ra-yu (spicy chili sesame oil) to our individual bowls! Adjust the amount of pepper and ra-yu!FYI, I always add vinegar before eating! For 3~4 servings. Recipe by Mizorecchifan cookpad.japan
