  2. 1 quartmilk
  3. Cinnamon
  4. Vanilla
  5. Sugar
  6. Evaporated milk (optional)

    Soak the rice in water, at least from the day before. You can add cinnamon sticks to soften them.

    Blend the rice with the cinnamon and milk, adding sugar and vanilla to taste. Strain and blend again at least twice or until there are no rice bits left.

    Add the evaporated milk (optional), ice, and enjoy. Everything left at the bottom can be used for rice pudding, a sweet treat, or rice atole.
