These fruity flavoured malpuas are soft and delicious apple malpuas which can be relished during fasts.

Sprinkle some fine sugar on apple rounds and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Mix singhara flour, cinnamon powder, and milk in a bowl.

Make a batter of right consistency neither too runny nor too thick. Just ideal to coat apples slices.

Keep it aside for 5 minutes.

Dip apple pieces in batter and deep fry till golden brown.

Now make sugar syrup by boiling half cup sugar with slightly less than 1/2 cup water.

When sugar dissolves completely, keep on a low flame for 3-4 minutes more, stirring continuously.

Dip Fried apples in this syrup for 5 - 10 minutes and then place it in serving dish.

Sprinkle elaichi/cardamom powder and Garnish with dry fruits.

Serve the fruity flavoured falahari malpuas hot.
