Ingredients

4-6 servings
  • Meat--------
  • 12 ounceshotdogs, beef
  • 24 ouncesmeatballs see one of my recipe
  • Pasta-----------
  • As neededwater about 2 quarts
  • 1 tablespoonextra Virgin olive oil for water
  • 1 tablespoonparsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoonsalt for pasta
  • 1 teaspoonsmoked paprika
  • 8 ouncesziti pasta
  • Potato-------------
  • 3large potatoes 2-1/2 pound diced
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonground white pepper
  • Other ingredients--------
  • 27 ouncessauerkraut

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the pasta

  2. 2

    Fry the meatballs and Potatoes add salt, garlic, and pepper. The juices from the meatballs will fry the potatoes. Cover

    After the meatballs are browned and the potatoes are getting tender add hotdogs and 1 cup of the pasta water. Cover.

    Add sauerkraut when the potatoes are crispy but fork tender. About 15 minutes covered. Cover and cook 10 minutes

    Add spices to the cooked pasta

    Mix and add to the mixture let simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
