This is a very healthy snack made using Makai Flour (cornmeal) and Fenugreek.

This is a very healthy snack made using Makai Flour (cornmeal) and Fenugreek.
Steps

In a bowl add Fenugreek, Sesame, garlic paste, sugar, salt, red chilli powder and Coriander powder.

Mix it and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Now add cornmeal (Makai Flour),Oil and Soda bi carb. Mix it.

Now add little water and knead it like a dough.

I prefer using warm water.

Now make small cylindrical shaped rolls.

Steam these rolls for 15 minutes. You can use a steamer or even Idli stand to steam the rolls. I prefer Idli as it is perforated and perfect for steaming.

Grease the stand.

Steam for 15 minutes

After 15 minutes take it out, allow it to cool and cut it into slices

Now heat oil in a pan. Add Meethi Vadi and shallow fry till the crust becomes golden brown.

Now add chat masala. mix it and serve.

Serve it with nice green chutney.
