  1. 3 PackagesOriental Ramen Noodles [with seasoning packets]
  2. 1 PoundPresteamed Shrimp [deshelled - added last]
  3. 3 CansSeafood Or Vegetable Stock [i prefer seafood stock]
  4. 4 CupsWater [more of needed]
  5. 1.5 CupsFresh Cabbage [sliced thin]
  6. 1/2 CupFresh Chopped Cilantro Leaves
  7. 1/8 CupFine Minced Jalapenos
  8. 1Small Can Bamboo Shoots [drained]
  9. 1Small Can Water Chestnuts [drained]
  10. 1 (15 oz)Can Baby Corn [drained]
  11. 1/8 CupFine Minced Jalapenos
  12. 2 tbspSiracha Sauce
  13. 1/2 tspCrushed Thai Chillies
  14. 1/2 CanBean Sprouts
  15. 1/3 CupGreen Onions [+ reserves for garnish]
  16. 1/2 CupDried Shitake Mushrooms
  17. 1 tspHonDashi
  18. 1/2 tspFresh Ground Black Pepper
  19. 1/2 tspDried Thai Peppers
  20. 2 tbspSiracha Sauce [added last]
  21. 1 tbspFine Minced Pickled Ginger
  22. 1/4 tspChinese 5 Spice
  23. ● For The Sides
  24. Siracha Hot Sauce
  25. Sesame Seeds

Steps

15 Minutes
  1. 1

    Here's the bulk of what you'll need. Ginger and mushrooms not pictured.

    Put everything, except for shrimp, in a large pot. Including Ramen packets. Boil for 15 minutes.

    Dried Asian mushrooms pictured.

    In the meantime, boil your noodles in water in a separate pot as per manufactures directions. Drain and add to vegetable pot.

    Add your shrimp and Siracha and boil for 2 minutes longer.

    Serve with Siracha Sauce to the side and garnish with green onions, cilantro and sesame seeds. Like I said, this recipe is stupid easy! Enjoy!

My culinary specialties as an easy going Chef include Asian, Mexican, Cajun, BBQing, Grilling, Irish Pub food, Low Country foods, anything seafood related, extra spicy foods, fresh meat, extra fresh vegetables, US comfort, kid friendly and super fast, quick and easy foods. But, I'll literally put anything in my mouth at least once. Pfft! My daddy didn't nickname me, "Goat," at two years of age for nothin'! Yup! I'll literally put anything in my mouth at least once!P.S. Most ALL of my recipes posted on this site were soley submitted by my youngest 6, 7 and 8 year old culinary students.
