Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 1 kgMutton
  2. 1 cu-Papaya(ripe) paste
  3. 2-3Onion (big)
  4. 2 tbspGinger and garlic paste
  5. 2 tspRed chilli powder
  6. 1 tea spoonjeera
  7. 2 teaspoondhaniya powder
  8. whole garam masala
  9. 1bayleaf
  10. 1Whole red chilli
  11. 3-4 tablespoonMustered oil
  12. 1/3 teaspoongaram marsala powder
  13. 2 teaspoonghee
  14. 1/4 cuptea liquor
  15. 1 cuphot water

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the mutton marinate with papaya paste for at least 4 hrs.

  2. 2

    Heat a pan add oil.put the whole chilli,garam masala and bay leaf.

  3. 3

    Fry the sliced onions till it becomes brown.Now add the mutton and saute till it starts to change colour.

  4. 4

    Now add 1table spoon ginger garlic paste,salt to taste and saute.

  5. 5

    Add one cup hot water and cover it.keep the flame low and allow the mutton to tender

  6. 6

    Now mix the remaining ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,jeera dhaniya powder in the tea liquor.

  7. 7

    Heat another pan add oil fry the mixture well.

  8. 8

    Add it with the mutton mix well and cover for a while.

  9. 9

    Sprinkle garam marsala powder and ghee.

  10. 10

    Serve it hot with rice or any kind of roti chapati or paratha.
