Syrnyky is a traditional Ukrainian dish, easy to cook and tasty to eat those cottage cheese ;) Children love them, the melted cheese tastes very good! Adults love them too )))) Give it a try and they will become your favorite breakfast dish - simple and healthy.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
I took 9% cottage cheese and sunflower oil, but you may use any oil to fry. Cheese shouldn't be wet. If it's wet, take a little more flour.
- 2
Mix cottage cheese, flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla in a bowl.
- 3
Mix well with a fork.
- 4
Preheat skillet with oil. The temperature should be middle, if it's too low, syrnyky will melt and loose their form. If it's too high, they will burn.
- 5
Put 1 tbsp of flour into small bowl. Form syrnyky with 2 (or 1 :) spoon
- 6
Put into a flour and form nicely by hands
- 7
Put onto heated skillet.
- 8
Continue till you fill the skillet. Put the middle one the last. You should make them fast, but it you're slow, make all and then put all at the same time on the skillet.
- 9
Fry until golden, gently turn to another side with fork. If you use thick wooden stick, you will probably spoil the form of syrnyky.
- 10
Fry on the other side until golden
- 11
Serve hot with favorite jam, honey, sour cream, tea or coffee. Enjoy!

Cottage Cheese Pancakes Cottage Cheese Pancakes
I've always loved pancakes—my favorite meal any time of day! To boost the protein, I started adding cottage cheese. I actually enjoy cottage cheese on its own, but in these pancakes, you’d never know it’s there—they’re soft, satisfying, and deliciously disguised. Jillian Dudek -

Russian-style Pancakes (Gluten-Free) Russian-style Pancakes (Gluten-Free)
Since the Winter Olympics will be held in Russia, I came up with a low-sugar and gluten-free Russian recipe.Very low in sugar, and full of protein, this pancake is healthier than your ordinary fare. Traditionally raisins are used in the batter, but I omitted them since they elevate blood sugar levels. For those concerned about sugar, I recommend using Lakanto. Recipe by Maxerbear cookpad.japan -
Draniki Russian-Style Potato Pancakes Draniki Russian-Style Potato Pancakes
My Russian friend's mother often made these for me when I lived in Israel. I made a note of the recipe here to remind myself how to make them in future. These pancakes have a simple flavour and taste just like what a real Russian mother would make. The trick with this recipe is to grate the potatoes while they are still raw. Your pancakes will end up nice and chewy that way.Grating this way will mean that you will lose some of the moisture from the potatoes but they'll provide a more uneven surface during cooking which will allow for a crispier texture. ✨Fluffy✨ Cottage Cheese Pancakes ✨Fluffy✨ Cottage Cheese Pancakes
These are a great protein-packed option to add to your breakfast line-up! I’ve made cottage cheese pancakes in the past, but the visible and chunky curds were not always appealing to my young daughter. So, I whipped together the liquid ingredients in the blender as recommended by some recipes I saw online. The difference is amazing, and yielded a fluffy and delicious pancake that everyone in my family gobbled up!✨ Be sure to use self-rising flour in this recipe! If you don’t have self-rising flour, see the “Notes” section below to make your own.#GlobalApron - Week 15. Cottage Cheese and Eggs#Breakfast #Healthy Chris Gan
