Have you heard of koo chye? Personally they are my favorite specially inside dumplings. This time we will add them in bee hoon(thin rice noodles)! Easy and just stir fry!

Have you heard of koo chye? Personally they are my favorite specially inside dumplings. This time we will add them in bee hoon(thin rice noodles)! Easy and just stir fry!

Ingredients

  1. Koo chye
  2. Curry leaves (optional)
  3. Garlic
  4. Lean pork meat or pork belly, change to chicken if u want halal
  5. Mushroom powder
  6. Light soy sauce
  7. Sesame oil
  8. Salt
  9. Chilli (optional)
  10. Brussel sprout
  11. Egg
  12. Shiitake mushroom
  13. White Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the bee hoon in warm water till soft then drain it. Don't need to boil it! This will give you a non soggy bee hoon.

    Stir fry garlic, curry leaves, chilli and koochye with sesame oil. U can put the curry leaves first so they will be drier.

  3. 3

    Put in Brussel sprout, shiitake mushroom or other veggie you like. Season with mushroom powder and pepper.

  4. 4

    Put in bee hoon, season with salt, pepper and mushroom powder.

  5. 5

    Make a hole in the center of the pan, put the egg and scrambled it. Please take note that egg will reduced the existing flavour. I usually scrambled it on the center.

    Taste it if the taste is to your liking and we are done!

A lazy cook. My recipe consist of cutting and stir fry. That's it :)I don't measure my spices unfortunately so you can always put and taste it according to your taste bud.I rarely use salt because my mother found this mushroom powder that will give you savory flavor but not like MSG.
