Ingredients

  1. 3 tbspvegetable oil
  2. 1/2red onion, chopped
  3. 2 clovegarlic, minced
  4. 2 tbspground cumin
  5. 2 tbsptandoori spice
  6. 1 tspgaram masala
  7. 1 tspground ginger
  8. 1 tspground tumeric
  9. 1/2 tspground cardamom
  10. 1/4ground cinnamon
  11. 1 lbchicken tenders/breasts, small cubes/chunks
  12. 1/2 cupchicken stock
  13. 2roma tomatoes, diced
  14. 1 tbspdried fenugreek leaves
  15. 1salt to taste
  16. 58" flour tortillas
  17. 1butter for tortillas
  18. 1/2 cupshredded cheese, any flavor(s)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a wok, heat oil on high and saute onions until translucent.

  2. 2

    Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  3. 3

    Add all the seasons except salt and cook for another minute.

  4. 4

    Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides.

  5. 5

    Add chicken stock, tomatoes, fenugreek and salt. Cook until gravy is all cooked down.

  6. 6

    On a hot griddle, place butter and a tortilla on top and let butter spread on the down side of tortilla.

  7. 7

    Spoon chicken filling on one half of tortilla then add cheese on top.

  8. 8

    Fold tortilla over then flip as needed until both sides are golden brown.

  9. 9

    Serve!
