Ingredients

  1. 1 lbBulk Italian Sausage
  2. 1/2 tbspRed Pepper Flakes
  3. 8 sliceBacon (cut into 1/2" pieces)
  4. 1 1/4 largeOnion (diced)
  5. 1 1/2 tbspGarlic (minced)
  6. 6 3/4 canChicken Broth (13.75 oz cans)
  7. 8 mediumPotatoes (sliced 1/4" thick)
  8. 2 2/3 cupKale (rinsed and chopped)
  9. 1 1/3 cupHeavy Cream

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large pot or dutch oven brown Sausage w/ Red Pepper Flakes. Drain, Rinse, Set aside.

  2. 2

    In same pot cook Bacon until just crisp. Drain grease except for 3 Tbsp. Add Onions and Garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.

  3. 3

    Add in Chicken Broth and bring to a boil. Add in Potatoes and simmer until potatoes are fork tender

  4. 4

    Add Sausage, Kale, and Heavy Cream. Simmer 4-5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve topped with grated parmesean, and a Breadstick on the side.
