Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, combine cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar and set aside

With a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Turn off the heat, remove the skillet from the heat, add and whisk together the cinnamon mixture, eggs, milk and vanilla.

Pour the mixture into a shallow container.

Dip the Texas toast into the mixture covering both sides of the toast.

Fry the toast until golden brown on each side.
- 7
Serve with syrup, strawberries, or any favorite jams. Sprinkle wit powdered sugar.
