  1. 125 gramsbutter
  2. 2 tbsphoney
  3. 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  4. 3 cupoats
  5. 1/2 cupraisins
  6. 1 tbspground almonds(optional)
  7. 1 tbspmixed seeds(sunflower,sesame,pumpkin)(optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C.

    Melt the butter, honey and in a large saucepan over a moderate heat

  3. 3

    Mix in the dry ingredients, coating well with the honey mixture.

  4. 4

    Transfer the mixture to a 22cm square baking tin and press flat.

  5. 5

    Bake for 20mins until golden.

  6. 6

    Remove from the oven and, loosen around the edges with a knife and cut into squares.

  7. 7

    Press down on the crunchies with a spatuka to prevent them from crumbling and leave to cool in the baking tin.
