  1. 2 lbsmoked ham
  2. 1 tbspsaffron flowers
  3. 1/2 tspsaffron threads
  4. 1 quartwater
  5. 1 stickbutter
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 2 1/4 cuplong grain rice

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the ham into bite sized pices melt half stick of butter in a pot add ham

    When the fat is rendered add water and saffron flowers and threads

    Bring to a boil add rice cook covered stir well when water craters appear stir once cover remove from heat undisturbed
