this recipe's base came from a co-worker. she made the filling to go in already cooked cresent rolls and topped with cheese. I lowered the amount of cream cheese, and upped the hot sauce, franks red hot of course. it was a hit with then family.

Ingredients

  1. 2 lbskinless, boneless Chicken breast
  2. 8 ozcream cheese, softened
  3. 1/2 cupranch dressing
  4. 1/2 cuphot sauce
  5. 8 ozrefrigerated cresent rolls
  6. 8 ozrefrigerated cresent rolls

Cooking Instructions

    preheat oven 375°F

  2. 2

    boil chicken breast, approx 25 mins, till cooked through

  3. 3

    Shred chicken (easiest done using 2 forks, one to hold other to shred)

  4. 4

    while chicken is still hot, mix in cream cheese (use 4-8 ounces, less cheese the hotter and less creamy)

  5. 5

    combine in ranch dressing and hot sauce to chicken and cream cheese.................this can be made ahead of time and placed in the fridge)

    Unroll creasents and form ring for ring, or place side by side to make calzone

  7. 7

    Place chicken mixture on cresent rolls, near wider end, fold over thin strips to close ring/calzone

  8. 8

    cook 25 minutes until cresent is golden brown
