Steps
- 1
Cook the two 10 ounce packages of frozen broccoli. Also lightly sauté the mushrooms in half a stick of butter.
- 2
Spray down a large cooking pan and add the cooked broccoli, jar of Artichoke hearts, and cooked mushrooms. Mix the ingredients around.
- 3
In the pan used to sauté the mushrooms (now empty), add half a stick of butter and let it melt. Add six tablespoons of flour and mix it together. It will almost look like a dough.
- 4
Now add a cup of chicken broth, 1/3rd a cup of heavy whipping cream, and half a cup of dry white wine to the mixture. Stir the whole mixture while it cooks for 5 minutes.
- 5
Add 1 cup of sour cream to the sauce pan, and stir it up for another minute.
- 6
The sauce should look lustrous, and have a thick yet pourable consistency. Pour it over the vegetable pan.
- 7
Salt and pepper the whole pan to satisfaction, and then cover it with a layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
- 8
Place it in the oven for 25 minutes until bubbly.
