Ingredients

  2. 200 gramscrackers/wafers
  3. 3 tbspmelted butter
  4. Filling
  5. 750 gramscream cheese
  6. 100 gramssugar
  7. 1 tspvanilla essence
  8. 3eggs

    Mix and match fruit, vegetables, nuts, biscuits or chocolates with this basic recipe to create new flavours. please refer to the photos for some ideas :)

    remove cream cheese from fridge to soften

  3. 3

    preheat oven 175C

  4. 4

    line baking tray/tin with baking paper

  5. 5

    crush biscuits/wafers and stir in melted butter

  6. 6

    pour crushed biscuits/wafers into baking tray/tin and press firmly to create a level base reaching all edges of baking tray/tin

  7. 7

    mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla essance till sugar granules dissolve

  8. 8

    stir in eggs one at a time

  9. 9

    pour cream cheese mixture into baking tray/tin on top of base

  10. 10

    bake for 40 - 45 minutes (cake must still be a little wobbly in the centre)

    cool cake to room temperature before putting in the fridge to chill for 3+ hours
