Yam Kofte with Spicy Coconut Curry and Yam Crispies

Lets make potato crispies first. Take Thin sliced yam and blanch it in salt water for exactly 1 minute. Take it off the water and let it get cool. Then sprinkle cornflour on it and deep fry it till it become crispy. Sprinkle some salt before serving if needed.

Now lets make curry. For curry we need to make a paste. Slightly saute onion on pan. Do same with cumin, garlic, curry leaves and coconuts too. Then take all things in mixer. Add 1 tomato, ginger, coriander and 2-3 tbsp of water and make fine paste of it.

Now heat oil and pour all paste in it and fry it till it gets little darker. Then add Hing, turmeric, red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix it. Then add 1/2 cup of water and coconut cream and mix it. When it starts boiling add salt and keep simmering for few more minute.

Now to make koftas, take all ingredients for it together except cornflour And mix it. Make small slightly flatten balls and coat it with corn flour. And deep fry it till golden brown.

To assemble it. Pour curry at bottom, place koftas on top. Also add garnishing like onion, coriander and few drops of lemon juice. Serve it with Naan.
