Ingredients

  1. 5chia eggs (google it and pick your fave recipe)
  2. 2/3 cupcocoa powder
  3. 1 1/2 cupcashews
  4. 1 1/2 cuphazelnuts
  5. oil
  6. 2/3 cuphoney/sugar of choice/maple syrup
  7. 1 tbspvanilla extract
  8. 1 tspSalt
  9. 1 tspbaking powder
  10. Water

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to a moderate temprature (around 220C) Chop and set aside half a cup of both hazelnuts and cashews

  2. 2

    Add remaining nuts to a food processor and process until a butter, if it doesn't form a butter then add a small amount of oil and process further. Continue until a butter forms.

  3. 3

    Add chia eggs, sweetener, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt and baking powder to the processor and process until smooth, if the batter doesn't resemble a smooth cake batter then add water.

  4. 4

    Add reserved nuts and stir into the batter

  5. 5

    Pour batter into a suitable oven safe dish and bake until the edges are crispy but the middle is still gooey, this will take at least 30min.
