Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupsteel cut oats
  2. 1 1/2 cupwater
  3. 1/2apple, grated with skin
  4. 1/2 cupmilk (rice, almond, soy, coconut)
  5. 1 pinchcinnamon
  6. 1 dashvanilla
  7. 1 tbspground flaxseed or chia

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine oats, cinnamon, vanilla, apple, water, and milk in a pot

  2. 2

    Cook for 5-10 minutes over low heat until thick and creamy

  3. 3

    Add a little extra milk or water if needed

  4. 4

    Serve into bowl and top with flaxseed or chia

  5. 5

    A little ground hazelnut sprinkled on top is good too
