Ingredients

  • 3 cupcooked red beans and rice mixture
  • 1/2 cupshredded jalapeño cheese
  • 1 tspgarlic powder
  • 1 can15 oz. black beans (1/2 mashed, 1/2 left intact)
  • 2egg whites
  • 1/4 cupflour
  • 2 tspTiger Sauce (any hot sauce will work)
  • 2 tspground cumin
  • 1 tspsalt
  • dashred pepper flakes
  • 1cooking spray
  • garnish
  • 1 largeavocados
  • 1 largetomatoes
  • sour cream
  • bunchcilantro

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, until throughly combined.

  2. 2

    Spray the pan with cooking spray, and Scoop 1/4 cup portions into the pan

  3. 3

    Cook for 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown

  4. 4

    Garnish with avocado, tomato, cilantro and sour cream
