Steps

Wash the flattened rice and drain completely, keep aside

Grind coriander leaves and lemon juice to make green paste

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds

When the seeds crackle, add asafoetida, curry leaves and green chilli and saute for few seconds

Add onions and saute for 1 or 2 minutes

Next add the potatoes, carrots and salt and mix well

Cover and cook on medium flame till the vegetables are cooked

Now add the prepared green paste and saute for few minutes

Add poha, fried peanuts, sugar and mix well

Sprinkle some water and cook for 2 minutes

Switch off the gas and serve hot
