Ingredients

  1. 100 gdaliya grains
  2. 100 gchopped capsicum
  3. 100 gchopped onions
  4. 100 gchopped tomatoes
  5. 100 gchopped carrots
  6. 100 ggreen peas (if available)
  7. 50 gpure ghee
  8. 1 tspmustard seeds
  9. 1 tspcumin
  10. 1whole red chilli
  11. 1/2 tsphing
  12. 1 tspturmeric (optional)
  13. 2 tspsalt
  14. 500 mlwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the pure ghee in a pressure cooker

    Now add the mustard seeds, cumin, whole red chilli, hing and saute for 2 minutes on low flame

    Now add the onions, carrots and capsicums and stir for 3 mins on high flame

    Now add the turmeric (optional) and salt and mix well and add the daliya and tomatoes and mix well

    Now add the water and mix well and cover the cooker 2 whistles

    Let the pressure cool down itself and serve hot with pure ghee and pickle
