This was a first time trying to decorate cake. I loved the naked cake as the cream on it is minimal and makes it easier to share.

This was a first time trying to decorate cake. I loved the naked cake as the cream on it is minimal and makes it easier to share.
Steps

Prepare your baking tin by lining it with a parchment paper and smearing with oil.

Sift your flour together with the baking powder and icing sugar.

Beat your eggs one by one in a bowl add sugar and then margarine while at room temperature. Mix well with a whisker.

Add your flour in bits as you stir with a spatula to one direction.

Pour batter in a baking tin

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or untill crust is well browned.

To decorate allow your cake to cool for atlist 10 minutes.

Trim the top bit of the cake to level it.

Slice a cake into two equal portions.

Apply some whipping cream on the board and place one portion of the cake. Appl

Apply whipping cream on the upper part of the cake portion.. this helps stuck two portions of cake together. Then layer other portion.

Using a pallete knife or spatula apply whipping cream

Since its dirty icing... it doesn't have to be neat and also make sure you don't apply too much of it.
