Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 1/4 lbeye of round steak, cubed
  2. 14 ozdiced tomatoes
  3. 14 oztomato sauce
  4. 3 tbspchili powder
  5. 2 tspground cumin
  6. 1 tspflour
  7. 1 tspsugar
  8. 1 1/2 tspseasoning blend (like Sandwich Sprinkle or Nature's Seasons)
  9. 5 tspgarlic powder
  10. 1 tbsponion powder (or 1 large onion, diced)
  11. 6 ozmilk (or your favorite lager)
  12. 2 lbpackaged gnocchi
  13. 1 canchili beans

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all but the last two ingredients in an electric slow cooker, adding enough water to cover all ingredients. Set the slow cooker to low, and set the timer for 8 hours. (This can be reduced to 7 if time is short.)

  2. 2

    About 90 minutes before serving, add gnocchi and beans to the slow cooker.
