Ingredients

2 pax.
  1. 250 gmsself raising flour
  2. 40 gmsmargarine
  3. 1 tspcardammon powder
  4. 1egg
  5. Warm mixture of water n milk to make the dough
  6. 40 gmssugar. Adjust to your taste
  7. Cooking oil

Steps

  1. 1

    In a dry mixing bowl, sift your flour.

  2. 2

    Add sugar, margarine n cardammon.

  3. 3

    Beat an egg aside then add it to the flour mixture.

  4. 4

    Rub in the ingredients till they incorporate together.

  5. 5

    Add milk water mixture n knead to a soft dough.

  6. 6

    Make sure its not sticking to your hands.

  7. 7

    Cover it for 20 mins to relax.

  8. 8

    After 20 mins, roll n cut to your desirable size n shape.

  9. 9

    In a frying pan, add cooking oil n let it heat to a medium temperature.

  10. 10

    Deep fry your mandazi in a medium heat till they turn golden brown.

  11. 11

    Cool and serve them warm.

  12. 12

    Enjoy with a drink of your preference.
