Ingredients

1hr 45mins
20 Mahamris
  • 3 cupsall purpose flour(Sieved)
  • 1 Tbsinstant yeast leveled
  • 1 Tbsmargarine(Optional)
  • 5 TbsSugar(Adjust accordingly)
  • 2Eggs(Optional)
  • Warm milk
  • Lemon rind(1 Lemon)

Steps

1hr 45mins
  1. 1

    Mix flour with sugar, salt, lemon rind and instant yeast.

  2. 2

    Add the Margarine, mix with hands

  3. 3

    Make a well, add the eggs... Then the milk.

  4. 4

    Knead thoroughly.
    Cover. Let it rise. When it has doubled in size knead and cover again.

  5. 5

    Let it rise the second time. Knead again.

  6. 6

    Make small balls and cut into triangles. It should not be thick.
    Deep fry.

  7. 7

    It should have a hole when you bite😂. Thats what I was told

    Enjoy with a cup of Tea. I love it with Masala tea.
