Soak black urad and chana dal for 2 hours

After 2 hours wash dal and grind it into a dry thick paste in a mixer or on a silbatta along with green chilli and ginger

Now heat tawa on medium-low flame and make pancakes with only half dal paste

Now mix water with the remaining paste making it of pouring consistency

Heat oil in a pan add asafoiteda and cumin seeds when cumin seeds crackle then add dal paste turmeric powder drycoriender powder salt

Now cover it and cook for about 10minutes on low flame
- 7
Now add dal pancake in gravy and again cook for 10 minute on low flame,the gravy should have pouring consistency,if thick add some more water and heat till it boils

Garnish with ghee and greenchilli and serve with rice or roti
