Ingredients

3 hrs 30 minutes
  1. 1 canevaporated milk
  2. 1 cansweetened condensed milk
  3. 5eggs
  4. 2 tablespoonsvanilla extract
  5. 10 tablespoonssugar (regular kind)

Steps

3 hrs 30 minutes
  1. 1

    In a non-stick pan, place the sugar. Once it turns into caramel, remove it and pour it into a flan mold.

  2. 2

    Blend the evaporated milk with the sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla. Pour this mixture into the flan mold with the caramel.

  3. 3

    Place the mold inside another pot with water for a water bath.

  4. 4

    Cook over medium heat for one hour.

  5. 5

    After an hour, check by inserting a knife in the center. If it comes out clean, it's done.

  6. 6

    Let it cool and then refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
