For dabeli masala, in a pan dry roast dry red chilli, cinnamon, cumin seeds and coriander seeds and make fine powder of it.

For red chilli-garlic chutney, grind soaked red chilli, garlic, lime juice and salt into fine paste and mix water if needed.

In a pan, heat some oil and add asafoetida, green chilli and cumin seeds into and allow it to crackle.

Then add onion into it and saute it for 2-3 min and add tamarind-dates chutney, potato, peanuts and salt into it and mix it well.

Now cut bun into two halves and spread tamarind-dates chutney and garlic chutney on inner side of both the halves.

Meanwhile, mix dry coconut In the potato mixture and spread it over the bun and top it with nylon sev and cover it with another half.

Now heat little butter in a pan and cook your dabeli from both the sides and switch of the flame. Your dabeli is ready now.
