Ingredients

20 minutes
3-4 servings
  • 1 bowlMoong daal soaked in water
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspSauf powder/ fennel seed powder
  • as neededCoriander leaves chopped(optional)
  • For kanji---
  • 2 glassWater
  • 1/4 tspHing /asafoetida
  • 2 tspRai /mustard seed
  • 2 tspRed chilli powder
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    In a grinder take moong daal,salt, sauf powder grind it to make paste

  2. 2

    Heat oil deep fry all the vadas

  3. 3

    Soak the vada in lukewarm water

  4. 4

    In a grinder jaar take all the kaanji masala grind it to make powder

  5. 5

    Take a vessel add RO water and kanji masala mix well

  6. 6

    Add vada in to kanji water kanji vada is ready
