Steps

Heat oil in a pan, add onions, ginger and garlic. Saute over medium heat until onions are golden brown. Add chopped tomatoes and saute until they turn soft

Add cashews and stir well. Allow to cool completely. Blend to smooth paste

Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf, cinnamon and cumin seeds. Saute until aromat

Add Chilli powder and turmeric, stir well

Add ground paste and stir fry for 4-5 minutes

Add remaining spice powders, sugar and salt and mix well for few seconds

Now add water with beaten yogurt and mix well. There should be no lumps. Bring to boil

Add peas, cook until they are just tender. Add paneer. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes

Add kasuri methi and mix. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot
