Ingredients

  1. 300 gmschopped carrots
  2. 300 gmschopped radish
  3. 2 tablespoonsmustard seeds (rai / sarson) powdered
  4. 1 tablespoonfennel seeds (moti saunf) powdered
  5. 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  6. 1 teaspooncibataazaspices turmeric powder (haldi)
  7. 1 tablespoonsalt or according to taste
  8. 50 gmsjaggery (gur)
  9. 1/3rd teaspoon heeng powder
  10. 2 teaspoonwhite vinegar
  11. 1 tablespoondhaniya powder

Steps

2 hours 15 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash, peel and cut raddish and carrot in thick strips

    Dry all the vegetables by spreading on the cloth just for 10 minutes.

    Now transfer the chopped raddish and carrots to a big mixing bowl.

    Add the dry masalas and salt and mix well for 1 minute.

    Add scraped gur(optional) and vinegar.

    Mix well, turn upside down, and keep it aside covered with a lid.

    It will ready to eat within 2 hours

    Serve as per the requirement.

    You can also store in an air tight glass container in fridge and use as and when required.
