Ingredients

20 minutes
3-4 servings
  1. 2 bowPumpkin chopped in cubes
  2. 1 bowlSnake gourd
  3. 2Onion chopped
  4. 3 tspGinger chopped finely
  5. 1/2 tspWhole garam masala
  6. 1 tspSugar
  7. 1 tspGhee
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 2Green chillies
  10. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  11. 2Bay leaf/tez patta
  12. 1/2 tspDhaniya ( coriander) powder
  13. 1/2 tspJeera( cumin) powder
  14. 1/2 tspJeera /cumin seed

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and keep the cubed pumpkin & gourd.

  2. 2

    Take a pan add some jeera,tez patta and green chillies​.

  3. 3

    Add onions and saute.

  4. 4

    Add ginger and saute a while.Now add whole garam masala and saute.

  5. 5

    Put pumpkin and Snake gourd, turmeric, sugar,salt to taste.Mix all well.

  6. 6

    Add dhaniya powder and jeera powder.Mix nicely and cover.Put gas on sim.Let it cook.

  7. 7

    Once pumpkin is tender add one tsp ghee and take off from heat.

  8. 8

    Enjoy with rice.
